Routes of Exposure: Exposure may be by
INHALATION and/or SKIN or EYE contact, depending on conditions of use.
To minimize exposure, follow recommendations for proper use, ventilation
and personal protective equipment. ACUTE HEALTH HAZARDS Inhalation: High concentrations are irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract. May cause headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and malaise. Skin Contact: The use of chemical resistant gloves is recommended Glove types are: Rubber, Latex, Plastic. Do not use leather or wool. Swallowing: Moderately toxic. May cause headache, dizziness, incoordination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and general weakness. Eye Contact: Causes irritation and possible corneal injury. Other Health Information: Repeated overexposure may cause hemolysis of the red blood cells leading to possible liver and kidney damage. Because of its irritating and defatting properties, this material may exacerbate an existing dermititis. CARCINOGENCITY: The components in this product are not considered to be a carcinogen by the National Toxicology Program, the International Agency for Research on Cancer or the Occupation Safety and Health Administration. |
Section 4 Emergency First Aid INHALATION |
INHALATION Remove from exposure, get medical attention if
necessary. SKIN CONTACT Remove contaminated clothing and wash with water.(*note, a simple water rinse is not adequate to remove this product from the skin. Continue to water, flush until slipperiness is gone.) INGESTION Drink plenty of water or fruit juice. Get immediate medical attention. EYE CONTACT Flush with water for 10 - 15 minutes, including under the eyelids. Seek medical attention. . |

N/A Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards . .Keep containers closed. Isolate from heat, electrical equipment, and open flames. Closed containers may explode upon exposure to extreme heat. During emergency conditions overexposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard. |
Section 6 Soils or Leak Procedures |
Protective clothing and equipment must be worn by clean-up personnel. Contain spillage or leakage in suitable container or contain in a holding area. A temporary holding area may be formed with an earthen dike system. Do not allow drainage to reach sewers, streams or storm conduits. Recover with vacuum equipment such as a septic tank truck or neutralize with weak acid solutions and flush with water. Avoid splashing or misting which could increase health hazards. |
